Stay or Go? (Redskins Edition)

Ty Nsekhe – LT – (Stay), Ty has been used as an excellent lineman for the Redskins, whenever a lineman goes down to injury, and it has happened a lot Nsekhe always goes in and does a good job. Many around the league believe that the 33 year old can be a starting tackle on a lot of NFL rosters, but it would be in the best interest of the Redskins to retain him, as they are an unlucky team when it come to injuries.
HaHa Clinton-Dix – FS – (Stay), Haha was moved to a whole new team at the midway point of season, the Redskins at this point were looking to make a push at solidifying their chance at the playoffs, many believed that Clinton-Dix for a 4th round pick would be an absolute steal for a team who defense at the time looked like one of the best in the league. Although the Redskins only traded their 4th HaHa did not preform well enough to grant a long term deal with the Redskins, but with no real safety talent outside of Montae Nicholson who is going through some off-field issues at the moment, HaHa should be brought back on 1 year deal cheap deal to let him prove himself next season.
Pernell McPhee – OLB – (Go)
Preston Smith – OLB – (Stay), Preston Smith is Edge Rusher who could help a lot of teams and if the Redskins do not bring him back he will make cash somewhere else. The young defender has been inconsistent at times but when he is on his game he is a force to be reckonded with he is great in the run but rushing the passer is where he really makes his money. He has the size to overpower smaller tackles who may be quicker, but he also has speed to beat big mauler type of guys. The Redskins would be foolish not to retain him.
Adrian Peterson – RB – (Stay), Adrian Peterson basically carried the Redskins offense this year and when Alex Smith went down he had to put even more of the team on his shoulders. If the NFL gave out team awards he would and should be the Redskins team MVP. He put up over 1,000 rushing yards with an injury ravished offensive line and had 4 different starting quarterbacks. He definitely proved his doubters wrong and having him on the team to guide young Derrius Guice along the path to recovery.
Austin Howard – RT – (Go)
Mark Sanchez – QB – (Go)
Josh Johnson – QB – (Stay), Johnson should be brought back as he preformed relatively well in relief on Alex Smith and Colt McCoy, although Johnson should be brought back his future is unknown since he is technically on an AAF league roster.
Tony Bergstrom – C – (Stay), Tony provides a solid depth player at IOL, he knows the system well and when he comes in he does not do a bad job. The Redskins need depth and he provides them with.
Michael Floyd – WR – (Go)
Jonathan Cooper – G – (Go)
Luke Bowanko – C – (Go)
Marcus Smith – DE – (Go)
Zac Kerin – C – (Go)
Marquis Flowers – OLB – (Go)
Arie Kouandjio – G – (Go)
Zach Vigil – OLB – (Go)
Maurice Harris – WR – (Stay), Harris did not fully get a true chance to shine with the Redskins as he was pushed down the depth chart, but when Josh Doctson went down with injury he stepped into that roll and really flourished until unfortunately that time got cut short by injury.
Byron Marshall – RB – (Go)
Rob Kelley – RB – (Go)
Carlos Henderson – WR – (Go)
ArDarius Stewart – WR – (Go)
