Tight end is a position that is becoming an increasingly important position. The versatility that they are bringing to offenses can’t be understated. Do it all tight ends that can run routes, make big catches, and block are in high demand and the draft is the best place to find this talent, as it’s a recent movement and there are only a few capable players in the league currently. Outside of the great Kyle Pitts, and the established Brevin Jordan and Pat Friermuth, there is one guy that has my attention more than the rest. That guy being Ole Miss’ Kenny Yeboah. Yeboah had a great week at the Senior Bowl and showed that he could beat the best safeties and linebackers and make the difficult plays.

Measurables
Yeboah stands at a respectable 6’4″ and weighs a sturdy 240 lbs. His frame is fits perfectly with his athletic play style. He isn’t quite the massive size of Friermuth or Pitts but he uses his 6’4″ frame to move down field faster and lowers his shoulder for an extra few yards.

Play-Style
Yeboah is very reminiscent of Jonnu Smith. He is a great athlete and uses that athleticism to make big catches and to make big plays after the catch. Yeboah is light on his feet and shows a certain elusiveness after the catch. He uses his big frame to get the extra yards and to stretch in the red zone.

Closing Thoughts
Yeboah is an uber athletic tight end who will carve out a decent role for himself in the NFL. He doesn’t have the out of this world athleticism of Pitts or Jordan and he doesn’t have the bulldozer blocking ability of Friermuth, but he is still a polarizing athlete who will succeed in the league because of his polish.
Best Fits
Carolina Panthers
The Panthers are in need of an upgrade at the tight end position and Yeboah could be just that. If they miss out on Kyle Pitts in the top ten, they can sit tight and wait for Yeboah to fall into their laps. Sam Darnold would love to have a safety blanket like Kenny.
Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals lost the great Dan Arnold in free agency so they’ll be on the prowl for an athletic two way tight end. Yeboah would fit perfectly into the “Air Raid” in the desert. Kyler Murray would then be dishing to an offense with Hopkins, A.J. Green, Kirk, and Yeboah. Sounds like a recipe for success.
