2021 NFL Draft: Two Biggest Steals From Round Two

Round two of every draft is full of elite talent and first round caliber players who find themselves slipping. The 2021 NFL Draft was no exception. There are two players in particular that make me feel like not only will they start early but they can be the difference between a win or a loss. So who are the biggest steals of the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft?

Round 2 Pick 50: OLB Azeez Ojulari, New York Giants

The Giants lacked speed and raw talent at the pass rush position and some how were lucky enough to snag one of the prospects they were rumored to be taking all the way up at 11 in the first round. Ojulari is a first round talent in my mind and like many, I cannot understand how he made it to the second round, much less to pick 50. Azeez is going to be the go to guy opposite Leonard Williams on third downs and can change the Giants’ pass rush as a whole.

Round 2 Pick 59: WR Terrace Marshall Jr., Carolina Panthers

On top of not understanding how he made it to pick 59, I don’t understand why the other 32 teams in the league allowed Joe Brady to get his hands on a talent like this from his historic 2019 National Championship run at LSU. Marshall Jr. is a complete receiver who steps into an offense with D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, Christian McCaffery, and the shiny new quarterback in Sam Darnold. I think Marshall Jr. will be a big time play maker early and often for the Panthers and will serve as a touchdown machine for Sam Darnold.

Honorable Mention: 3-4 DE Christian Barmore, New England Patriots
