It is likely that not every team has a future HOFer on their current roster. Young players are so hard to predict because their careers could change in any direction, injuries could happen, they might retire early, or anything else. So when we leave out a rookie or sophomore on your favorite team, by no means are we saying they won’t have a HOF career. We just haven’t seen enough promise in their very limited time in the NBA. It is also important to note that players’ accomplishments in college, overseas, and in the Olympics are also taken into consideration for the Hall of Fame. With this in mind, we will be ranking our choices in a tier system.
Tier A: Could retire right now and be a HOFer.
Tier B: Has just a little bit left to prove.
Tier C: Has shown amazing promise, just needs to do this throughout their career.
Tier D: It’s possible but unlikely at this point in their careers.
