When Cooper was traded to Dallas for a 1st round pick, the football world laughed at the Cowboys. What a boneheaded move to trade a draft pick for a very inconsistent wide receiver. Little did we know, this move would transform the entire dynamic of the Cowboys offense. Cooper has revitalized his career in Dallas, reeling in 132 passes for 1914 yards and 14 touchdowns over a 25 game span.

With Dallas already signing Zeke to a hefty contract, a big payday looming for Dak Prescott, and the front office’s determination to keep Robert Quinn, Cooper may be on a different team come the 2020 season. Here are 5 teams that should pursue Amari Cooper.

#5: Philadelphia Eagles

With the Eagles’ struggles at wide receiver last year, which resulted in Greg Ward Jr., a quarterback converted wide receiver, to be their starter during the end of the regular season and into the playoffs, it wouldn’t shock me if Howie Roseman made a run at Amari Cooper.

Cooper wouldn’t draw as much attention as he did in Dallas due to the plethora of weapons that Philadelphia has when healthy, which would only lead to more opportunities. His talent level hasn’t matched his production, but if paired with Ertz and Jeffery, the sky’s the limit for this offense.

#4: Buffalo Bills

The Bills are an elite receiver away from potentially being a Super Bowl team. While John Brown and Cole Beasley did a solid job this season, Allen still hasn’t found that go-to guy that most Super Bowl teams and top offenses have. Cooper would give Allen a weapon who can dominate 1-on-1 matchups while also opening up running lanes for Devin Singletary.

#3: Arizona Cardinals

With the Cardinals signing Larry Fitzgerald to a one-year extension, they should bring in Cooper to take over Fitzgerald’s role when he retires. Fitzgerald could be a great mentor for Cooper and will help him improve in all aspects of the game.

Kyler Murray and Cooper are also relatively young, so they will have time to grow and build a rapport for the years to come. Also with reports that the Cardinals may choose CeeDee Lamb in the first round, they could use the pick on a more needed position like offensive line while signing a proven star in Cooper.

#2: Indianapolis Colts

TY Hilton is getting older and Devin Funchess was injured all year. This would be a perfect singing for the Colts. They have over 90 million dollars in cap space, so money won’t be an issue. They could get a young elite receiver in Amari Cooper to potentially pair up with Justin Herbert or Jordan Love. Also, we saw the offense drop off towards the end of the season along with Hilton missing a plethora of games, so Cooper could revitalize this offense and bring the Colts back to their glory days.

#1: Dallas Cowboys

While Jerry may break the bank on Dak Prescott, he may want to cut the tape and see his stats with and without Cooper. The former Biletnikoff Award winner has turned this offense around, and once Cooper arrived, we have seen a different Dak Prescott. Not to say Prescott isn’t good without Cooper, but with him, he is much better. Also, Cooper will only be 26 in June, giving him more time to grow and improve, which would make this offense scarier. The Cowboys will need to sign Cooper if they want to be Super Bowl contenders.
