The day after the regular season came with multiple HC openings, and a couple of GM openings. One being a surprise: Miami Dolphins HC Brian Flores who only spent three seasons with the team. Now, Miami will be looking for their fourth HC since 2015. Along with the Dolphins, teams like the Minnesota Vikings & the Chicago Bears will also be looking for new HCs.
Brian Flores. The Dolphins come out with a surprise Monday morning firing Brian Flores 3 seasons into his regime. Flores, who has won 19 games in two seasons, including an 8 game win streak this season. NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport mentioned that Flores was the reason why Deshaun Watson wanted to come to Miami. Now without Flores, that may change for Watson. Flores, with six HC vacancies right now, should get a good amount of consideration.

Mike Zimmer. The Minnesota Vikings clean house, firing Mike Zimmer & GM Rick Spielman to start off the day. The next Vikings HC will have a decision to make with Kirk Cousins in a contract year & set to make $45M. Besides that, the Vikings’ job will be one of the most coveted in the league with an offense already set with Dalvin Cook, Justin Jefferson, and Adam Thielen.
Jim Harbaugh. Harbaugh has been linked to a couple of teams so far (Miami Dolphins, Las Vegas Raiders), but Owner Stephen Ross said that Harbaugh will not be among the candidates for the Dolphins job. The Raiders, however, are still in play. But it’d be hard to move on from Rich Bisaccia after he took Vegas to the playoffs under a lot of tough circumstances.

Joe Judge. The Giants are reported to be keeping him after a lackluster 2021 season, where they finished 4-13 & last place in the division. The Giants have had a lot of woes this season, but nothing tops the 3rd down & 9 QB sneak inside their own 20 during Sunday’s game. If that doesn’t scream “I want out of here” to John Mara, I’m not sure what does.
